Tamworth Borough Council has taken an important step towards delivering more affordable and social housing after cabinet approved plans for the authority to apply to become a Homes England partner.

Tamworth Borough Council is taking a significant step forward in the regeneration of the town centre by investing in the upgrade of its street and public space lighting. Using the remaining allocation of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the council is replacing outdated, inefficient lighting systems with modern, energy-efficient LED and smart technologies.
