Tamworth Borough Council invites residents to help create a stunning flower display at Tamworth Castle

Tamworth Borough Council is calling on all local residents, families, and community groups to get involved in an exciting and creative project this summer. As part of St Editha’s church Tamworth Flower Festival, from 23 to 26 July, the exterior of Tamworth Castle will be transformed into a breath-taking flower castle, featuring hundreds of handmade fabric and knitted flowers.

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Leaders unite behind bid for Foundation Strategic Authority

All 10 councils have submitted an expression of interest to government for a Foundation Strategic Authority (FSA), agreeing that Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent is the right geography for local devolution and that they are ready to move forward at pace, urging the government to implement the changes at the earliest possible opportunity.
