Football pitches

Sports pitches are available to hire. The largest facility is based at Anker Valley, Amington, where there are 10 pitches and changing facilities.

Forms should be returned either by post to: FAO Pitch Allocations Officer, Streetscene, Tamworth Borough Council, Marmion House, Lichfield Street, Tamworth, B79 7BZ or via email to: sportspitches@tamworth.gov.uk 

A condition of application and hire is that all team accept the terms and conditions and code of conduct.

  • Due to our annual maintenance programme booked pitches will not be available until September 2023

Fees and Charges from 1 April 2023

Season Pitch Applications require a £50 non-refundable deposit – this fee will be deducted from the season pitch hire fees.

NEW 3G pitch

The 3G pitch based at Tamworth Enterprise College is a top of the range addition to Tamworth Borough Council’s sports pitches providing a valuable space for the Borough's many football teams of all ages. Tamworth Community 3G will cater for 1000's of participants annually, helping the borough stay active and healthy whilst enjoying a premium sporting facility.

The 3G will be available to hire at the following times:

  • Monday – Friday 5pm – 10pm
  • Weekends 9am – 9pm
  • Further times will be available during school holidays
