Tamworth Borough Council is inviting families across Tamworth to enjoy a fantastic programme of big-screen entertainment this summer, with a series of affordable family-friendly film screenings at the fully airconditioned Tamworth Assembly Rooms throughout July.
The summer cinema season begins with a special free screening of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants on Monday 20 July at 1pm, giving local families the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day out at no cost.
The adventure follows SpongeBob as he sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following the legendary flying dutchman on an epic journey to the deepest depths of the ocean.
Due to the popularity of free events, ticket holders who can no longer attend are encouraged to return their tickets so that other families can benefit from the screening.
Following the free opening event, a range of blockbuster family favourites will be shown for just £3 per ticket, offering affordable entertainment throughout the school holidays.
