Tamworth Borough Council is pleased to announce the success of its Tenant Conference held on Tuesday 28 October, at the Assembly Rooms. The event provided an invaluable opportunity for council tenants and leaseholders to engage directly with council housing services and share their views.

Postal voters urged to act now

Tamworth Borough Council is urging all postal voters to reapply as soon as possible, by 31 January 2026 at the latest, or risk losing the ability to vote by post in upcoming elections.

Face the World raises over £8000 to support mental health through arts in Tamworth

Tamworth Borough Council are pleased to announce that Face the World, a creative wellbeing initiative led by Burton and District Mind, has successfully reached its crowdfunding goal of more than £8,000. It is the fourth community project to be fully funded through the We Are Tamworth programme, delivered by Tamworth Borough Council in partnership with Spacehive.

Tamworth Borough Council has been officially awarded the prestigious Housemark AntiSocial Behaviour (ASB) Accreditation, recognising the council’s commitment to tackling antisocial behaviour, community safety, partnership working, and resident engagement.
