Let's get walking

Let's get walking together and improve our wellbeing.

Walking, has a wide range of mental and physical benefits, so why not come down and join us

Beginners walks:

Please arrive 15 minutes before the walks. 

Every Wednesday 10-11am
Meet at the Assembly Rooms, Corporation Street.

Every Friday 10-11am 
Meet at the Assembly Rooms, Corporation Street. 

After the walks, you will be able to purchase your favourite warm drink for £1 from the Assembly Rooms.

All walks are free to attend.

Summer evening walks

Unwind, walk and make new friends.

Join us for a casual evening stroll every Thursday 6-7pm.
Meet outside Christophers, 13 Aldergate B79 7DL.

After the walk, we will head back to Christophers for a cuppa and a chat. It's the perfect way to break up the week and connect with new people.

Active Agers

What to expect:

When: Every Monday (excluding bank holidays) 

Time: 11.30am-1pm Where: St Peters Church, Hawksworth, Glascote Heath 

Come and join our over 50’s free activities it’s a great way to stay active and socialise! Each week, you can spend some time enjoying a variety of activities at your own pace for example, badminton, indoor bowls, recreational darts and indoor putting. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends while having fun and keeping fit. Refreshments will be available.

Women's walking football

Come alone to our walking football sessions, designed purely for fun, helping with our mental wellbeing, improvement in our join movement and balance and it's a great way to meet new friends. 

Every Friday, 11.30-12.30 (excluding some Fridays in the school holidays)
