Full council decision on whether to create a parish council for Tamworth, including provisional precept. |

December 2026 – March 2027 |
Governance arrangements put in place, including:

1 April 2027 |
New parish council starts, local people pay precept as an addition to council tax. |
| 6 May 2027 | Councillors elected to new parish council. |
This timeline is provisional and depends on the outcome of full council decision on 8 December 2026.
