The session will cover key principles of UK public sector procurement, including relevant legislation such as the Procurement Act 2023 and what this means for bidders. Attendees will gain an understanding of where opportunities are advertised and how to begin qualifying which may be suitable for them, what documentation is typically provided and how to approach completing this successfully, and how their submission will ultimately be evaluated.

Our Effective Bid and Tender Writing Techniques workshop is designed to demonstrate how organisations can produce more competitive tender submissions by applying a consistent approach to responding to the quality questions asked by public sector buyers. The session will demonstrate to attendees how to break questions down analytically to provide a structure for a high-quality response and present their proposal in a credible, compelling and convincing way, regardless of the word or page limit applicable. Supporting techniques to create an effective bid/no-bid strategy and apply impactful win themes to a submission will also be demonstrated and shared with attendees.
