Tamworth Castle Grounds

Our versatile outdoor spaces within the grounds offer the perfect backdrop for events of all sizes, combining natural beauty with historic charm.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of Tamworth Castle, our grounds provide a unique setting that will captivate your attendees. The landmark castle creates a spectacular visual backdrop, lending historic grandeur to any event.
Our grounds feature:
- Expansive open lawns perfect for festivals, markets and large gatherings
- Beautiful Victorian bandstand ideal for performances and ceremonies

- The majority of the castle grounds is flat terrain with hard-paved paths for easy access
- Modern toilet facilities including disabled access, a Changing Places facility and water refill station
- Mulitple versatile spaces that can be configured to your specific requirements
- Multiple nearby car parks with ample capacity for attendees (More than 1,000 spaces in council-run car parks within walking dsitance and 700 at Ankerside Shopping Centre)
- Tamworth Railway Station and bus stations just a short walk away, providing regular services
- Town centre location with amenities including shops, restaurants and accommodation all within easy walking distance

- St Editha's Square - Newly refurbished square in the heart of the town centre, alongside the historic church
- Wigginton Park - Home of Tamworth Rugby Club, extensive park of more than 20 hectares with a tree trail, meadow and children’s play area
- Dosthill Park - 12 hectare Local Nature Reserve alongside the river Tame. With children’s play area and woodland
