|Thrills a plenty at the TIC

The Tamworth Information Centre (TIC) is offering the Staffordshire Thrill Hopper ticket which allows people to visit attractions across Staffordshire for a bargain. A Thrill Hopper ticket is a one off purchase that allows you one visit to Drayton Manor, Alton Towers, Waterworld and the Snowdome throughout the season.

|Castle improvements

Residents will notice some changes at the Castle in the coming months, as scaffolding starts to go up for the first part of a repair programme which kicks off this month. Visitors will still be able to access the building. The works will not affect visitor’s tour inside the Castle as nearly all the works are external.

|West Midlands Regional Spatial Strategy

The West Midlands Regional Assembly has submitted its latest plans for the Phase 2 Revision of the West Midlands Regional Spatial Strategy to the Secretary of State. This part of the Strategy will set out how a range of issues in the Region will be dealt with, including housing and employment land, centres and transport.
