The Gambling Commission license and regulate the people and business that provide gambling in Great Britian including the National Lottery.Tamworth Borough Council as a licensing authority has regulatory obligation under the Gambling Act 2005 for licencing gambling premises and issuing permits and permissions.

Tamworth Borough Council has published its 'Statement of Principles' for 2016 to 2019 issued under section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005.

Tamworth Borough Council has also set fees for premises licences issued under the Gambling Act 2005.
