Elections 2015
This year, the Local election and a Parliamentary election were on Thursday 7 May.
The ballots for the Parliamentary General Election were counted overnight on Thursday 7 May.
The ballots for the Local Election were counted on Friday 8 May, beginning at 4pm. The results are linked below:

The Council is now made up of 18 Conservative councillors, 11 Labour councillors and one UK Independence Party (UKIP) councillors

A meeting for potential election candidates and agents for Local and Parliamentary elections took place on Wednesday March 11.
