Statement of Community Involvement
A key objective of the new planning system is to strengthen
community involvement. The Statement of Community Involvement is an
integral part of the Local Development Framework. It sets out how
we will involve you in the preparation of Local Development
Documents. It also explains how you can get involved in the
decision-making process on planning applications.
The Statement of Community Involvement was adopted on 14 June
2006 following extensive community involvement and an independent
examination.
