The Local Development Scheme sets out what development plan documents the Borough Council will prepare over the next three years. This three-year programme includes 'consultation milestones' to inform you about opportunities to get involved with the plan-making process and to let you know about the likely dates for involvement. It also sets out a longer-term programme for development plan document preparation beyond three years.

The current Local Development Scheme took effect in September 2009 and can be downloaded from the right hand column.  It has been updated to reflect changes to the Core Strategy timetable, which are shown below.  The Council will be consulting on the Preferred Spatial Strategy from 2 October to 13 November 2009.
