Save a Baby's Life

Would you know what to do if the baby you are caring for stopped breathing?  Nine out of ten parents don’t know first aid facts that could help them save their child’s life, and only 20 per cent of parents in the UK think that they could resuscitate their child. The Royal Life Saving Society UK finds these statistics shocking, but not surprising. 22% of parents in the midlands have suffered the distress of watching their child choke and “didn’t know what to do”.

Belgrave Sports Centre in Tamworth are holding “Save a baby’s life” sessions. These are 10am to 12pm on Friday 6th and Friday 27th August, sessions cost £5 per person and include refreshments.

Attending a course such as this could quite literally mean the difference between life and death. You will learn how to cope with drowning, choking and non-breathing babies.

Save a baby’s life sessions are designed for anyone who cares for a baby whether its parents, grandparents, friends or babysitters.
