Town Centre

The town centre shops are within walking distance from the railway station and bus terminus. Overlooking the Castle Grounds, Ankerside Shopping centre has cafes and more than 60 shops. It is fully enclosed and therefore weather friendly. It is centrally located and has more than 600 parking spaces (disabled parking floor five)

Markets

Town Centre markets are held every Tuesday and Saturday
The town centre comes alive with a variety of market stalls along Market Street, George Street and St. Editha's Square. The traditional market days are complimented with occasional farmers markets and French or specialist markets during the year. Please call 01827 709581 for further details.

Out of Town - Ventura Retail Park, Jolly Sailor Retail Park and Cardinal Point

Ventura Park, Jolly Sailor Retail Park and Cardinal Point are just ten minutes on foot from the town centre, via the historic Ladybridge.

They feature many high street stores and supermarkets. Its location, just off the A5, makes is convenient for visitors and residents, with ample parking available.
