Tamworth Borough Council manages the dual use Sports Centre at Belgrave High School, in partnership with the schools, offering a variety of sports facilities for all. The Football pitches at Anker Valley are managed by the Council along with others throughout the town.

Tamworth Castle Pleasure Grounds have a wide range of play facilities, including the new skatepark, new tennis courts and one of the best flat green bowls greens in the Midlands.
