Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Tamworth Castle.

Tamworth Castle offers a range of volunteer opportunities both behind scenes and front of house in education, events. Volunteers are an important part of the castle team and contribute to the delivery of quality services to the public.

Benefits
Both short and long term placements are available. The castle's volunteer programme provides valuable experience in a number of spheres:
~museum work: ideal for museum/heritage students.
~working with children: during schools visits and holidays.
~event work: assisting with the delivery of events including ghost search's and medieval banquets.
~performance work: performing at murder mysteries, castle by candlelight and living history days.
~discreet project work; particularly for students of all ages.
