2009/10 Programme
The housing improvements programme for 2009/10
is now drawing to a close; the tenants of any properties included
in the programme will have already been contacted by our
contractors and will have been advised of the date when their work
will be completed.
If you have not been contacted by one of our
contractors then your home has not been included in this years
programme.
2010/11 Programme
We have recently completed a new survey of our
council houses and are developing the improvement programmes for
the next 5 years. We aim to publish the details of the programmes
in February 2010.
If your home has been identified for inclusion
in any one of the improvement programmes you will be informed in
writing between February and April 2010; the letter will then be
followed up by a visit from one of our contractors.
As in previous years all of our programmes are
aimed at ensuring council houses in Tamworth meet the Governments
decent homes standard; this means we are unable to add properties
to any of the programmes unless they have been identified as
failing decency during the survey carried out during the summer of
2009.
