Housing Advice operates the Mortgage Rescue Scheme (MRS) for people facing repossession and can’t meet their mortgage payments. This scheme offers financial help for them to stay in their own home (* conditions apply). For further details please contact the Housing Advice Mortgage Rescue champions

In partnership with the CAB, the Council offers free advice, assistance and preparation for people facing possession proceedings through the Tamworth Court Desk. This service is available Tuesdays 1pm to 4pm at Tamworth County Court, Spinning School Lane. Tamworth.
