Housing Allocations
The allocation of council accommodation is based on a
points system. You are allocated points dependant upon your
circumstances, the higher your points level the greater the
likelihood of being rehoused.
The number of points that you need to be allocated a property is
not fixed. The level required will depend on who else is waiting
for property in the area and how frequently property becomes
available. The more locations you tell us you will consider the
greater your chances of being allocated property.

Full details of the allocation scheme are published in a booklet
called A guide to the Housing Register which can be obtained the
Coucil Offices in Marmion House or telephone Housing Advice on
01827 709459.
