Operation Teamwork - Belgrave

Tamworth Borough Council’s Housing Estate Management Team and
Estate Caretaking Team took part in a two-day Operation Teamwork in
Belgrave in August.
Operation Teamwork is a partnership initiative
involving Tamworth Borough Council, the Police, Fire and Rescue
Service, Youth Services and other organisations who work together
to tackle as many problems as possible in an area during an
intensive two day operation.
An average of 17 residents in each street were
asked to identify issues they most felt were in need of
intervention. A total of 499 Customer Contact Records were
completed along with 31 Environmental Audits prior to the
Operation.
“You Said”
the top issues you identified were
- anti social behaviour
- litter/rubbish
- graffiti
- nuisance neighbours
“We Did”

highlighted and reported over the two days
Several residents received letters for
overgrown gardens or for rubbish on gardens
Joint visits were carried out by the Police
and Housing to perpetrators of anti social behaviour
Bulky items were removed from general areas
and from residents’ gardens
Graffiti was removed from smaller areas ie
