Following Cabinet approval in September 2011, Councillors approved in principal the disposal of 26 under used garages sites across Tamworth as well as to invest in those identified for retaining.

Target Date Summer 2012 - Sites designated for Disposal       

Phase 1 - Coton Green & Leyfields Area

Please note in December 2011 individual letters were sent out to garage tenants who are likely to be affected

Target Date Summer 2013 - Sites designated for Disposal       

Phase 2 - Wilnecote, Glascote, Kettlebrook

Please note individual garage addresses which are identified for disposal will be released nearer the time.

Target Date Summer 2014 - Sites designated for Disposal       

Phase 3 - Gillway, Ferrers Road, Colbourne Road

Please note Individual garage addresses which are identified for disposal will be released nearer the time.

If you are affected by the planned disposal of a garage, alternative ones are available for you to rent. If you would like to apply for one please down load an application form under more information on your right or one can be posted out to you on request. For those people whose garages are being demolished will be given priority of those currently on our waiting list.

Garage Sites that will remain

For the garages which will be retained are still available for rent and the next step is a planned programme of improvements of them.
