The Housing Management teams deal with a wide variety of issues, ranging from:

  • signing you up for a new tenancy,
  • helping with housing and other welfare benefits advice,
  • helping to deal with troublesome neighbours,
  • managing the Council owned garages,
  • reporting environmental problems on estates, such as litter and fly tipping,
  • dealing with rent arrears.

Finding A Home logo

The Finding a Home scheme - or choice-based lettings, enables you to "bid" for properties you are interest in, either through the new website or via Housing staff.

Existing and potential tenants can express an interest in up to three properties a week.

The homes will then be allocated based on housing need and length of time on the waiting list - not a  'first come first served' basis.
