Tamworth Borough Council has entered the Heart of England in Bloom campaign for the third year running following the previous year’s success of gaining a Silver gilt award, and we are striving to achieve a higher accolade this year.

This year we have entered the small city category which will encompass large areas of the town, including the Local Nature Reserves, open spaces and park land, business developments, natural wildlife habitats as well as the built environment of the Town Centre.

The 2010 tour of Tamworth will not only cover the Town centre but will also include transport to complete a borough wide view of approximately ten miles.

Many people are involved within this years Heart of England in Bloom Entry not only employees of the Council, but also schools, residents, several voluntary groups, individual companies and business are involved in the event. This year’s entry design was chosen from many entries from our local schoolchildren.
