2010 Visitor Guide Launched

Visitor Guide 2010Tamworth’s brand new visitor guide has now been launched. Packed full of attractions and events across the area, the 52-page guide aims to put Tamworth on the map. Building on Tamworth’s being the ancient capital of Mercia, our Anglo-Saxon past and opportunities around the Staffordshire Hoard; the guide is packed with historic and cultural activities, music entertainment and the arts.

Those wanting to enjoy the thrill of Drayton Manor, Alton Towers theme parks, Tamworth’s Snowdome and Waterworld a Thrill Hopper ticket can be purchased from Tamworth’s Tourist Information Centre. These are discounted at £44.95, giving a saving of £36.30 on an adult ticket and £125.05 on a family ticket.

The guide is also promoting the free Enjoy Staffordshire card which offers discounts at a number of local attractions, restaurants, accommodation venues and much more.
