Tinkers Green Open day
An open day is being held at Tinkers Green
flats, Linthouse Walk on Wednesday 19
August 2009
between 11am to 3.30pm. The aim of the day is tackle a range of
issues for residents including anti social behaviour as well as
offering financial advice and support. The event will be attended
by HomeStart, Street Wardens, Housing officers, PCSO’s, Police,
Tenant Participation and the Councils Caretaking Team.
“The aim of the event is to address any
concerns the local community may have and work with residents to
improve the area” said Councillor May Oates, portfolio holder for
Quality of Life. “Along side tackling issues such as graffiti,
litter and flytipping we will also be offering residents financial
advice for those who may be struggling to keep on top of their
finances or who may have questions about dealing with debt or
maximising their income. Our Housing Officers will be on hand to
talk to residents and offer advice and support throughout the
day.”
