Bogus caller
Please be aware we have had a report of
a bogus caller in the Leyfields area.
The man entered the garden of a resident,
stating he worked for the Council and was there to complete
repairs.
When asked to produce ID he left. It has
been verified that this person (a white male with a white van)
should not have been on these premises.
All Tamworth Borough Council staff carry
official ID, stating they are working on behalf of the council.
Always ask for ID and if anyone with concerns, please call
Tamworth Borough Council on 01827 709709, so we can verify who
they are.
