Local residents are invited to join Tamworth Borough Council staff and partners at the Kerria Community Centre on Friday 12 March, 2010 2.00pm – 4.00pm for a “walkabout”.

The aim of the “walkabout” is for residents to voice their concerns about the community they live in. Various Council departments including Street Scene, Housing, Neighbourhood Services Officers, Community Development Officers and Street Wardens will be on hand, along with Tamworth Police, Staffs County Youth Service and other agencies.

This is an opportunity for anyone in the area to raise issues about anti social behaviour, litter, fly tipping or environmental issues.

By getting involved, residents will help feed into an action plan to help improve the neighbourhood.  For residents unable to attend, a contact form and information will be left at the ARCH Centre at the Kerria.
