Video guide to Amington community funding
Groups and organisations in Amington are being
urged to bid for a slice of up to £20,000 of funding – before the
deadline closes.
Tamworth Borough Council, working with the
Community Safety Partnership through Locality Working, has up to
£20,000 to spend on projects to address local issues in Amington –
and it will be up to the residents to vote on where that money is
spent.
The money is being made available for projects
which will run in Amington for the benefit of residents living
there and which will do their bit to make the area a better place
to live.
Groups can apply for between £500 and £5,000
for projects which they can show will make a positive change in the
local community.
A number of organisations have already put in
their bids. Groups which have not yet applied have until 12noon on
January 5 to get their applications in.
We've put together a short video explaining the process.
Application forms and further information are
