NOTICE IS GIVEN that from 24th June to 21st
July 2011 between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm, any person interested may
inspect, and make copies of the accounts of the above named Borough
Council for the year ended 31st March 2011 and all books, deeds,
contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto. The
accounts and other documents will be available for inspection at
the offices at which they are normally kept or otherwise by
arrangement; application should be made initially to the Corporate
Director Resources, Marmion House, Lichfield Street, Tamworth; tel:
01827 709252.
NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that on or after 22nd July
2011 at 10.00 am until completion of the audit, the auditor, at the
request of a local government elector for any area to which the
accounts relate, will give the elector an opportunity, under
Section 15 or 16 of the Audit Commission Act 1998 and Section 21 of
the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2011, to question him about the
accounts, and any such elector may make objections as to any matter
in respect of which the auditor could take action under the Act
(namely an unlawful item of account, failure to bring a sum into
account, or loss or deficiency caused by wilful misconduct) or
could make a report in the public interest under Section 8 of the
Act.

writing and at the same time, a copy of this notice must be sent to
