Council app

We have a FREE app which allows people to access council services while on the move. The MyStaffs app was launched by Staffordshire County Council, in partnership with Tamworth Borough, Lichfield District and South Staffordshire Councils.

The app allows users to access a wide range of council services from their laptops or smartphones, including finding out about school closures, reporting highway issues, ordering an extra bin and managing council tax payments. You can also select to receive reminders for paying your council tax or business rates. The top five services being accessed on the MyStaffs app are:

  • Term dates and school holidays – 13.1%
  • Find my nearest… - 11.4%
  • Report it – 10.9%
  • Births, deaths and marriages – 10.8%
  • School menu options – 9.4%

Cllr Rob Pritchard, Tamworth Borough Council Deputy Leader, said: “The MyStaffs app is a big success story and is making it easy for people to do a large number of things, including reporting potholes, finding out about school holidays, school meals and getting reminders to put bins out. If you haven't downloaded it from the app store yet, I would encourage you to do so. It’s a great little tool.”

The MyStaffs app is free and available on Apple devices, Android and Google platforms. It can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
