The Philip Dix Centre is based at Corporation Street in Tamworth and is mainly occupied by charitable or voluntary organisations. One of our Customer Service Assistants will meet and greet you then direct you to the appropriate organisation or designation. The Customer Service Assistants can also offer a wide range of advice on the services given by the Council.

From April 2011 Tamworth Tourist Information Centre will be located in the Phillip Dix Centre.

Hiring of Halls - Philip Dix Centre
There is one room and one hall to hire based either at the Philip Dix Centre or Carnegie Centre, which vary in size and price. They are suitable for meetings, birthday parties, yoga classes, markets, jumble sales and various other activities. The Halls can be booked until 10pm. See below for room hire prices, effective 1st January 2011. prices include the hire of the room for 4 hours + VAT = TOTAL and are subject to change.
