The Shadow Trust Board
The Shadow Trust Board is a forum that allows
young people to come together and discuss the issues that matter to
them. The views of these young people are taken into account when
planning and providing services. The Shadow Trust Board engages
young people between the ages of 11 and 19. The Board meets a
minimum of four times per year. Two meetings are large scale events
where the aim is to engage with a large number of young people from
a diverse range of backgrounds. Two smaller scale more formal type
meetings involve young people helping us plan the larger events.
The two types of meetings give us the opportunity to consult with
young people and also allow partners to share information, advice
and guidance.
