Tamworth Borough Council Voluntary and Community Sector Commissioning Framework

In line with national best practice, Tamworth Borough Council has conducted a review of the current framework, process and procedures for awarding grants to voluntary sector organisations.  This has been to inform an “intelligent commissioning” approach to funding for implementation in 2010. The review is built on existing good practice such as the 14 point funding framework developed by Tamworth Borough Council  (TBC) in 2005 and ensures that new commissioning procedures are Compact compliant, clear and transparent.
