What, Where, When and how
much?
Once you have decided what you are going to
sell, you will need to get a £5million public liability insurance
via an insurance broker, or become a member of the Market Traders
Federation.

When you have your public liability insurance
you can attend the market as a casual trader subject to
availability.
Casual traders are accepted, but please call or email in advance
where possible for availability. Arrangements to stand will be at
the discretion of the Markets Manager who has the right to refuse
trading in order to maintain the mix of goods available throughout
the town centre or if no trading positions are available.
Casual traders are expected to arrive between 7:30 and 8:00am,
and are asked to report to the under covered area at the Town hall
for registration. The town hall is located where George Street
meets Market Street. You will then need to sign in with the Markets
Manager.
