The Business litter pledge is a simple way that you can make sure that you are not only compliant with your waste but you can actively work to improve the area. This in turn will help your business grow, as a tidy well kept business is always attractive to potential customers.

There are 3 award levels that you can gain:

The Bronze award is awarded to businesses that comply with the legal duty of care for waste disposal and street litter.

The Silver award rewards businesses that comply with the bronze standards and additionally undertake responsible recycling, reusing, waste minimisation and local environment quality initiatives.

The Gold award rewards businesses that actively improve their local environment in addition to meeting Bronze and Silver criteria.

There is already a number of businesses in Tamworth that have signed up to the business litter pledge. By simply following the legal requirements this already gains a bronze award.
