The idea for the network was originally raised by local voluntary sector organisations and through Tamworth Local Strategic Partnership. Tamworth Borough Council has taken on the lead organising role.

When people need help one of the problems they often face is not knowing what is out there for them or how to go about getting the support and advice they need. The aim of the network is to make it easier for people by getting local support agencies working more closely together and promoting what they have to offer.
